Description
As chaos engulfs her world, the goddess Harmonia sacrifices her divine form to be with the mortal she loves, King Cadmus. Their happiness is shattered when Cadmus is transformed into a serpent, prompting Harmonia, in her despair, to take on the same form. It is widely known that she is the daughter of Ares and Aphrodite, which leads Hephaestus to unwittingly craft a cursed necklace that brings her suffering. In truth, it was Eris, the goddess of discord, who deceived him into creating the necklace, ensuring Harmonia's misery. When her eventual death inadvertently unleashes horror upon Thebes, she is reborn as a mortal. Devastated by the truth behind the necklace, Hephaestus blames himself. Comforted by Aphrodite and Ares, he vows never to ally with Eris or Zeus again. As centuries pass, he watches helplessly as Harmonia is reborn, her vitality dimming with each life. After millennia of anguish, he pleads with Zeus to restore Harmonia to her divine status. Zeus agrees, but only if Hephaestus can convince the mortal Harmonia of her true identity as a goddess. If he fails, he will join her in mortality, forever exiled from Olympus.
