What's a man who lays a hand on a girl?

Lyric is abused by her alcoholic father, who repeatedly calls her "fat" and "ugly", so she doesn't think very highly of herself, she self harms because of it.
One day the hot music teacher Mr. Horror sees her cuts and many bruises.
He takes her in and they fall in love.
