The little baby laid her eyes upon the fae. Melissa smiled at her. She liked the baby. She hoped to be invited too at the party the next day. Melissa flew swiftly and mixed in with the air, following the direction of the wind. The next day arrived but Melissa wasn't invited. Rather her two young sisters were. Didn't the King and the Queen ask her for the birth of their child? And why were only her good-for- nothing sisters only invited? Forgetting her humanity, Melissa cursed the child to die at the age of 16. Little did she know that fate had other things planned for her.
