Chapter 1) Chances

It is long believed that the militia of the Companions run the capital. All of which have an Animagi partner. Animagi are friends who give powers through the metamorphosis of Resonance where the human and creature become one in mind and soul.

Raika, an up and coming adult secretly wishes to become one. He dreams of riding a dragon and asserting control and command over the city, promising prosperity and peace.

But destiny has a different job in mind for this wannabe Companion. And, an Animagi unlike the dragon, that hasn't been seen in millennia.
