Prologue

You think your life sucks? Get a load of Lynn's. She's been a good girl her whole life, even thought her mother hates her. She suffered alone through a rejection, and joined the military to get away. She was injured by a land mine that detonated while she was overseas.

Lynn must return home. What awaits her there? Is there a second chance for Lynn?

More importantly, what about her first mate? If anyone gains something from Lynn, it's him. He needs her to get the powers of a true alpha.
