Chapter One - The boy in the waters

While trying to escape form her country doomed to destruction, Alika almost dies and is saved in extremis by a mysterious boy. Unable to speak yet holding immense powers he seems to be send to look after her by her deceased sister. They both embark on a journey leading them to the strangest places in order to find the thing Alika's been longing for her whole life : a reason to live.
