Michael Hoy is your average guy. Actually, he's quite below average. Some might call him a loser, a schmuck with no motivation. He lives in the town of Winthrop Locke, part of a city known only as Paradise, and up until now his life has been dull and monotonous. But one day he learns the truth about where he lives, meets two very strange men who claim they're aliens, and is enlisted to save the Earth from peril and doom caused by a legendary monster of epic proportions. The fight against the Worm is on, and after his first encounter with the unknown, his life will never be the same.
