Johns new to the school and really the way of life in the poorer parts of London where he's just moved too after the untimely passing of his father and the fact that now moneys tight. So tight that John has to take up a job of his own. Enter Freddie Bulsara, trouble maker and madly in love with the paper boy that comes round every morning (except for Sundays) with his father's news paper.

Be it fate or just pure luck that the two had some classes together and only living up the street from one another.
