Chapter One: Emptiness

How do you find a purpose in life when there is nothing about your life that you like? 18-year-old Kenji Kuroki doesn't know how to relate to the world. He doesn't even know how to relate to himself. The summer after his Senior year of high school, his world and relationships starts to evolve.

There are creatures preying on the people of his town. Demons that can become invisible at will. Yet somehow, they can never hide from Kenji, who can see what others can't. When a peculiar young man appears in his town, the promise of new friendship and a changing outlook on life appears.

Can he find something worth fighting for? Will others fight for him?
