Prologue: the curse

Description: an AU with the Tangled characters as Beauty and the Beast. Basically, Varian is a brilliant young alchemist, completely misunderstood by his village. Cassandra's a witch, cursed to live in a monstrous form after angering the wrong enchantress. What happens when their paths cross...?

Side note: I've changed the ages for the story so there aren't huge age gaps. Varian is 16, like in the last season, Cass is 17, and Andrew is 18, just for reference.
