Prologue

Vespera has lost the only thing that ever made her feel sane.

The one person stopping her from going over the edge has ascended as one of the Divine and is never coming back.

Things she had always been used to now seem to have hidden meanings, and it's all she can do not to take the plunge into insanity. Luckily, she's not the only one.

Her new companions have experienced similar fates at the hands of their gods and want the same thing she does: Normalcy.

Unfortunately, once you're tied to the Divine, nothing goes the way you want it to.
