Säkerville had always been a safe place. At least, that's what everyone believed.
Dark, yes. It wasn't one of those quaint little European towns with an old-world charm. No-Säkerville was something else entirely. Shadowy, cold, and always wet. Floods weren't uncommon. When the mutilated body was found near the woods just outside town, panic swept through the community.
