An Early Exploration Mission aboard the USS Arsenal goes wrong when Dr. T'lirri is severely injured on Bia Delta XIX, resulting in a severe injury when she takes a hit meant for Captain Hayvna and it causes emotional tension between her and Hayvna. Hayvna struggles with the guilt of T'lirri getting hurt and refuses to take time off for her own recovery, causing concern for both the crew and T'lirri.
