Chapter One

Elizabeth Bret-Dayton is stuck in an impossible situation, and there is seemingly no way out. Her family is nearly destitute thanks to the poor business practices of her father, and unless she can learn magic overnight, they will be stripped of their title and exiled from the kingdom.
