Dill is a 16 year old girl. In her high class society she feels as if she doesn't fit in. She thinks blacks will not accept her and whites will look down on her. She is not racists because she is mixed, but a fare about has come her way.
In her journey to finding herself she will endure trials,love,and happiness.
