When you are in highschool things are going to be hard and complicated. What's even harder is having to be a woman . We all know women never get equal rights but it's even harder being a black woman .
"You have to work 2 times as harder than other people to get half of what they get . " Her mothers words stuck in her head like it was her favorite song . That's what kept her motivated .
