Tuscany, Italy. Summer, 1980.
Sixteen-year-old Scott is sent overseas to stay with friends of his mom in Tuscany to "fix his attitude" and ends up in a prank war with Francesca, the daughter of the family he's living with.

The playful rivalry between them softens Scott's heart and by the time he's supposed to go home, he realizes he can't live his life without Francesca.
