Ashley is a young and vibrant girl with dreams of becoming a lawyer later in the future. She has this great family that she loves so much and vice versa. She gets rescued by someone that she never thought she would speak to. This seems to have opened the door to many things that can be considered unwanted for her because they somehow disrupted her plans. Alex, an eighteen-year-old boy, lives a distant life with his past hung around his neck. He has a mental disorder and, because of this, hides from the world, but after meeting Ashley, he effortlessly starts uncovering his life for her. Things don't go smoothly as Ashley hopes that they will and she gets heartbroken. But fate keeps bringing them closer even after years of left behind pain.
