In this crossover between *Legacies* and *The Invitation*, Sebastian from *Legacies* assumes a new identity as Walter Deville. Evelyn Alexander and her best friend, Clover-daughter of the powerful witch Qetsiyah-travel to New Carfax for what they believe is a wedding celebration. However, dark secrets unravel when they discover Walt's true nature as a vampire needing three brides. Despite her mother's efforts to keep the existence of vampires a secret, Clove knows she is a witch. She decides to take Evie's place, ultimately falling in love with Walter, even as he reveals his sinister intentions.
