My first review!!: "Lolly is a really fun read, and as stated, good for kids of all ages. It paints a picture, using imaginative, descriptions, and astounding, artful alliterations. What was really interesting for me in reading this as an adult is that it is written in joyful spirit. It's fun the whole time. Of course there's dramatic tension, but if you grab any page at all and read it, it's lovely. It's happy. It really creates a sustaining positive state in the reader. The characters are inventive and visual as you see it in your mind. I think it would work for little kids, as a great story to read to them over several nights. It would be good for older kids.
