the first 'visit' | unexpected sighting

Before it happened, the statue was once chasing survivors with it's vines. Blooming survivors with a small aura aimed and meant to take away health depending the severity of the floral effect.
One day, the statue exited out of the killer camp. No one asked about it's whereabouts and so they forget.

Time has passed and the overgrown statue could no longer move due to the vine parasite lacking in nutrients and slowly die out in the middle of the misty forest.. to be forever being stagnant.
