PART ONE

𝐹𝐼𝐹𝑇𝐸𝐸𝑁 𝑌𝐸𝐴𝑅 𝑂𝐿𝐷 𝐸𝑉𝐼𝐸 𝐵𝑈𝐶𝐾𝐿𝐸𝑌 finally felt like she could breathe again when her mother threw what she could into the back of an Uber , and announced that she was leaving her abusive stepfather. 𝑇𝐻𝐸 𝐵𝑈𝐶𝐾𝐿𝐸𝑌 𝑊𝑂𝑀𝐸𝑁 fled just shortly after Evie's stepfather left for work, and to their escape.

The two finally reached L.A where they hoped to start a new life, and 𝐸𝑉𝐼𝐸 was happy to finally see her uncle 𝐸𝑉𝐴𝑁 again. But in their happiness, 𝑀𝐴𝐷𝐷𝐼𝐸 and 𝐸𝑉𝐼𝐸 live in constant worry that their past would catch up to their future.
