Description
Book One of The Divine Anchors Thousands of years ago, the God Kings ruled Raxis with an iron fist. As the patrons of the eight magical realms, they controlled the flow of magic and horded it. After being betrayed by one of their own, the God Kings were banished to the magic realms. The only thing linking the God Kings to the mortal realm are the Divine Anchors, a group of eight objects that serve as conduits to magical power. When their village is attacked by agents of the growing Thornian Empire in search of one of these anchors, four young villagers are thrust headlong into a world of magic, intrigue and war. Their journeys will bring them to the edges of the known world. They will face trials and tribulations and loss, and will be forced to make decisions that affect the fate of both the mortal realm and the magical ones.
