Ice Cream Apology

"I think you get lonely." I shifted under his stare.
"Its better to be alone then with bad company." he muttered his deep voice sending chills down my spine.
"Am I bad company?" I asked. He took a long pause and studied my face with his piercing blue eyes.
"No, just annoying."
