"Cait, wait." Jax grabs her forearm, stopping her from walking any further. She wasn't supposed to be home for another hour, and he got so caught up with Wendy. He hadn't noticed the clock went by a whole hour. His sweats sat low and loose on his hips, his bare chest exposed almost as if to mock her broken heart. "You're an absolute waste of my time." Her voice may have cracked half way through, her eyes swollen with tears, but she refused to let a single tear fall. Not in front of him. Not in front of the whore that's tangled up in her favorite blanket. "I have given you so long to get your shit together. I'm done." "What does that mean? Let me explain what happened, please darlin'." She shook her head, in one swift motion she yanked her arm free from his grasp. Her eyes taking him in one last time.
