Kore Anvora's life, up until now, was hardly magical. Abhorred by her conservative Midwestern high school for her short hair and preference for men's sweaters, she didn't think life could get much worse until her mom was unexpectedly killed in a car accident. Discovering a miraculous power she didn't know she possessed, Kore finds herself ensnared in the world of Wishers--people with powers beyond imagination. And the Wisher weapon she's unwittingly stumbled upon reflects the contents of its wielder's heart, meaning Kore's crippling anxiety, if left unchecked, could destroy existence itself. For the first time in her life, Kore doesn't feel powerless. Will she learn to find the source of her anxiety and learn to accept herself?
