Blake's a teenager, still legally a child, though she chooses to believe that her life experiences make her an adult.

After losing the only person who'd ever loved her, Blake pretends that she isn't falling apart. She longs for the solace of death, some peace to calm her or anything to stop the tidal wave of grief and fear that she keeps shoving down.

Alone in the woods will she succumb to the darkness or will a new stranger by the name of Daryl Dixon show her that there's hope, even if he himself is a little rough around the edges.
