Fresh out of college batista Kai Smith just wanted to spend the next few years of his life with no complications, no trouble (though he did have a knack of getting into trouble a lot, all for good reasons).

However, his life takes quite an interesting turn when he discovers a girl unconscious and lying on the beach in the hot sun, covered in scratches and bruises no one could even begin to explain.

So he decides take her in, hoping to nurse her and help her find her home. Turns out there's more to the mysterious girl than he realized....
