Dione Wyzel Aubade has been best friends with Azen Shield Trouvaille since their last two years in elementary and has now reunited when Azen transfers to Dione's school during their final year in high school.

Azen was the same guy Dione knew about and nothing seemed to have changed between them. However, things get complicated for Dione after realizing that it was not the feeling of missing her best friend after all these years that makes her get these butterflies in her stomach every time she's with him.

As honest as she could be to herself, she knew she was already in love with her best friend but never did she intend to make it known lest they end up ruining the friendship they already cherish at the moment. She fears losing a great friend like Azen, thus, never confesses but loving someone secretly won't be as easy as she hopes to be especially when Azen reminds Dione of their friendship insignia and makes her feel more special than ever.
