Lexia Ward a plain girl from New Zealand, Nelson is suddenly struck by her mom and dad's divorce. It splits her between the two and causes friction between her other family members. After finding out that none of her parents can look after her she ends up having to move into her own flat in New York and look after herself. On the other side of her story, her crush, who she thought had moved to Britain, visits her through the night every night never in daytime but why?
