Daniela's mother has just died from an mysterious cause and now has to go live with her father in Caramoo, Kansas whom abandoned her when she was first born. She then finds many mysterious people in this small town. She is still trying to figure out who she is, but with her dad constantly trying to reach out to her, and falling for the bad boy at school, it's kinda hard to keep her mind straight. All while trying to figure out what really happened to her mother. Daniela is a 15 year old girl who always stays in the background and despises being the center of attention, which is hard when everyone in the school knows each other....well everyone but her. She had spent most of her life in California with her mother and the two of them taking care of each other. Then when her mother died Daniela was certain that it wasn't by what the police were saying...after all, have you ever heard of a bear attack in a home in California? Once she gets to Caramoo, Kansas she keeps trying to find the truth about how her mother died. But she wasn't expecting the cause to be so close to Caramoo, Kansas. Now, will she ever forgive her dad? Will she find love in this small town? And will she ever find out what happened to her mother..... or suffer the same fate?
