The world is coming to an end for humanity. Mythological creatures that started as bedtime stories and horror tales are real and looking for a fight, after spending millenniums in hiding. Sawyer Abbott- being one of the first people to discover the attack -doesn't want to accept this new end and will do anything to restore peace.
