Prologue

Nathaniel didn't want to be favored. Not by his father, mother, society or by the gods.

Ever since he could form a coherent thought, he knew that he had no right to be in the center stage. The world revolved around his only friend. The protagonist of this story. Nathaniel was more than content to hide behind his shadow, offering guidance and support until he succumbed into his own demise. Even with a second chance, he would do it all over again. But this time, he would see through the ending.
