Chapter one

Months after delivering a key to reactivate global communication, Mae's journey takes a dark turn when she is assaulted by a fellow traveler. Fighting for survival, Mae sets out to return to Noa's village, seeking safety. Severely injured by a bear attack, she arrives at Noa's doorstep on the brink of death.
