Description
Heatwave and Quickshadow are a happily married couple who live in Fort Worth Texas. They soon have a baby boy named Hot shot and they love him very much. Hot shot starts to grow into a very happy and healthy five year old. Hot shot loves to run, jump, climb and play. However when in June, Hot shot starts to feel unwell. Hot shot is tired all the time, he is weak, he has a fever that won't go away, he has night sweats, he is itchy, and there is swelling around his neck and left underarm. His parents take him to see his pediatrician. Who sends them to Cook Children's Dodson specialty clinic to see a special doctor. Then Hot shot has many tests done by the special doctor. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma a type of cancer of the immune system a kind a blood cancer. Hot shot is going to be brave and fight his cancer. Hot shot soon makes friends with four other kids his age in the hospital with the same type of cancer. They decide to fight their cancer together. Hot shot is determined to kick cancer's butt!
