Prologue

It was a miracle the kingdom of Uppelyste still existed. Monsters terrorizing the countryside, and the complex machinations of men in cities manipulated by things beyond comprehension. Yet there somehow are still heroes in the world, and they will fight until their last breath to defend what must be protected, even when evil burrows up from the ground.
