Every year, swaths of 20-year-olds descend upon a college campus. Unfortunately, this college specializes in war, in consideration of the one raging around them. At the nation's borders are outposts and enemies, guarded by many from the army, but most notably, the Dragon Riders.
When she stepped onto the bridge leading to the dragon riders, she had no intentions of making it across. The quadrant only accepted volunteers, and she was ready to give her life. Not to fight, but to her mother.
