Freckled, introverted, sweet sixteen and never been kissed: that pretty much sums up Amy Duffman's life. Amy was always unique, but then so were her surroundings. Raised in a mountain village with only her brother and the school bullies for company, she grew up extremely introverted and shy, having experienced next to nothing of the world beyond. But that all changes when a new boy comes to town: the bad, but gloriously good boy Koen. Over the years she comes to realize that she can't ignore the crush she feels for him, despite their rather large age gap. And when her life is turned upside down, she believes there is only one person she can turn to, and she will do anything to find him.
