Prologue: The Shy Girl

For months, an odd phenomenon has been consuming the city you live in. Every midnight, the city stops working and strange creatures roam around and attack anybody they can find. After a few weeks of fruitless investigation, you meet a shy but intelligent girl who you quickly befriend. You spend time with her and soon come to admire her abilities.
