Ominis stared at him and tried to think about that time. He was just so fixed on surviving his awful family and being careful with his funds as a personal nest egg. Not to mention, he was fifteen when Noctua disappeared. He was brokenhearted, missing his aunt, but there...might have been another kind of ache...
