It was Christmas Eve, and the sons and daughters of Zamyatia had congregated to celebrate the day of his second coming and salvation from the grasp of nuclear hellfire on this day, two centuries ago.

And yet the warmth and frillous festivities of cinnamon and warm candlelights cannot mask the horrid stench of burning diesel and gunpowder, for the sun was setting upon Zamyatia, while the spectre that lurks within has arrived, enshrouded in red, verily imbued with the power of anger and discontent.

Katya Winspencer was but a remnant of the old order, those who haplessly attempt to cling into a life of normality as her motherland crumbled around her. When the red river arrived towards her doorsteps, she was unexpectedly saved by a young plebeian - a young, homeless orphan known as Maya, who had a peculiar yet sought after set of skills.

For Maya was an Iconoclast, a strange but welcome phenomenon verily sought after by the rulers of Apocrypha for their untapped potential, for it was said that the Iconoclasts was bequeathed by the power to undo civilization and humanity itself.

And as the red river subsided that day, Maya's skills have not gone unnoticed, for Katya's decision to give her shelter at home caught the attention of a devious man known as Lord Nicholas Winspencer.

Offering a second chance in life in his new order, Nicholas welcomed Maya as family and took her under his wing.
