Prologue

Led by frustration due to losing her job, Sersley Adriano finds herself accepting an offer from her friend to be a private chef of a man who has only one rule in life. No one has to see his face. Seeing his face means being at death's door. At least, that's what the rumors say. Accepting her friend's offer means putting her life at risk; however, due to circumstances, she is forced to accept and finds herself in awe as she stares at the face she is most afraid to see.

Hell, fate must have been playing tricks on her. If that face were the one that would send her to death's door, she herself would even offer to enter voluntarily.
