Corruption. What exactly is it? Where can it be found? It's kind of an open secret that it even exists in this supposed utopia, although most people doubt it exists here. Everything is perfect, right? People can say what they want, when they want it. The rights of the people have never and will never be taken away. Everything is perfect. The people who believe that there is even an ounce of corruption are crazy. They are conspiracy theorists. They cannot be trusted as all they are saying is just talk, right? What they are saying can't be true. It just can't. ... After living a relatively quiet and sheltered life with her family, Dalia is thrown into a world of corruption, violence, and death. She grew up reading history books for fun and having intellectual conversations with lawyer of a mom and history professor of a dad. She had been homeschooled for her entire life and loved every second of it. Her best friends were her family: her parents and two older brothers. Despite being sheltered, Dalia is well aware of what goes on in the outside world. She knows about the riots in the cities, about the troops placed throughout the country in the most populous areas, about the seemingly random deaths around the country of people who made their anti-government beliefs public. When an international underground anti-government organization suddenly goes public, threatening the entire current structure of the country, Dalia is shoved into a world that she doesn't know. What she does know, however, is that she must join the war against corruption and regain the people's human rights. The issue is, this corruption might just go deeper than she thinks it does.
