Description
Christian Cruz found an injured truck jumper chicken on the side of the road while he was driving home from getting off work early that day. After talking to his old friend, Thomas Stevenson, he realized the only good chance the chicken surviving was to drive all the way to his friend's animal sanctuary in a small town compared to where he was from. Christian's drive to be a good person pushed him to drive hours that day to the animal sanctuary. He eventually ended up staying the day at the sanctuary helping out as he can, however Thomas pulled a small funny prank on Christian, so Christian thought to do the same thing... Only to accidentally end up pranking one of the volunteer workers at the sanctuary! A grumpy, logical, stubborn girl that's a new high school graduate by the name of September Crawford. With the unfortunate first impression and Christian's peppi optimistic personality, it left a bad taste in her mouth. Only to find out later that he decided to stay the night in this small town before heading back, but all the hotels were full, that's when September's mom offered for Christian to stay at their house. Everyone, but September, started to encourage Christian to stay longer. September's world fell apart right in front of her eyes as her dislike for Christian only grew. She resorted to trying to kick Christian out of her home and town. That was until Christian started to grow slowly on her, but not only did he grow on her, but she did on him too. As time neared his leave, she switched from trying to kick him to procrastinating his stay. Despite their hearts falling for each other, she was 18, he was 27, and he knew it couldn't work because of the forbidden age gap. Or can it?
