Prologue

Success and failure led me to where I am today.
I would like to say that it was for the better, that this twisted ending brought me where I'm meant to be, but I have it in me to doubt myself.
In spite of toxic men and the death and burial of friendships, I like to think that I have beaten all the demons that used to haunt me, because evil always wins, but not this time.
After first loves and tragic endings, summer loves and people in whom I watched myself loving again despite the pain, I think the advice I would give is to love yourself first.
Because, despite everything, no matter what, there are always stories to be told.
