Tao wakes up in a strange new world, finding himself transformed into a misunderstood Khral-a Fae subrace feared and reviled by humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, and other Fae alike. Struggling to adapt to his new form and instincts, Tao also has to face severe discrimination and life-threatening dangers at every turn.

As he battles to reclaim his autonomy and fight for the rights of the Khral, Tao must navigate the complexities and prejudices of his new reality.
