He had felt the guilt over the past 6000 years in which he had remained close to the demon. And he never even told Crowley that it was all his fault.

He had so many chances. So, so many. And the only thing he did, was to stay close to her, trying to make up for it all.

And did it work? He let out a fake laugh. Of course not. He still felt bad. No, not the right word. He felt terrible. Oh so terrible for all of it.
