Prologue

A swirl of light appeared before her, distorting the surroundings. She frowned at the strange occurrence. That definitely was not normal, and she knew better than to meddle with uncontrollable things. Warily, she stepped away from it.

And yet, it appeared that whatever the flicker of light was, it was intent of following her. Her attempts of evasion proved futile when it that somehow appeared before her, and she had only realized after coming into contact with it.

Her vision blurred as she felt the strength leave her body. Grasping desperately at the last thread of her consciousness, she saw the park she was in warp into a garden of sorts. Then, she blacked out.
