Adrian Shephard, a HECU Corporal, manages to somehow escape Black Mesa and, after being 'detained' by the ever-so-elusive G-Man, is assigned a mission... in the UNDERGROUND! Accompanied by Chara Dreemurr, the first fallen child turned ghastly apparition, they adventure through for one very specific goal... but is that all there is to it?
