Azusa is a princess who lives as an outcast in the forest.

Born in Kiwano, a district in the sub-Saharan nation of Uzalunga, ASUZA is an adventurous free-spirited girl who roams the forest where she lives with her mother, Aysun. As a child bride, Aysun was forced into permanent seclusion after giving birth to Asuza and developing a taboo medical condition. When Asuza's father, who had abandoned them since her birth, decides to marry her off at the age of 12, she runs away from home. With every new human and mystical being she encounters in her arduous, exciting journey, she discovers new parts of herself and her path to destiny.
